Estimados padres de familia:

El presente mensaje es para desearles un feliz año 2011, esperando que sea excelente para todos ustedes. El segundo motivo para este mensaje es recordarles, a pesar de haberles sido enviada una circular electrónica a este respecto, que este próximo viernes 14 de enero se llevará a cabo el OpenHouse.
Los horarios son los siguientes:

Primero de secundaria (todos los grupos) y Segundo Año (grupos A, B y C) de 16:00 a 17:30 hrs
Segundo año (grupos D, E) y Tercer Año (todos los grupos) de 17:30 a 19:00 hrs.

Sobre este evento, quiero informarles que por motivos profesionales, no podré estar toda la tarde, sino sòlo de 16:00 a 16:40 hrs, por lo que me permito solicitar a aquellos de ustedes que quisieran platicar conmigo sobre sus hijos, hacérmelo saber via correo electrónico a esta cuenta: missqueralt@gmail.com o solicitando una cita con Ms. Lili en la oficina.

Hi, children! It has been a while since tha last entry I wrote. Here you will find a list of the thibgs we have been doing.

1) We have complete plotlines for Treasure Island, up to chapter 6.
2) We have discussed characters and how they act or feel about what happens.
3) You made cartoons about some of the chapters in the book.

We will read three more chapters before beginning the work for our essay, which will count 40% of the BiMESTER grade.

Hi, kids!!!

Today, we finally finished our diagnostic exams. I'll be giving you your grades tomorrow. In general you are strong in some skills and we will need to work on others to level you up. This is our second week and we will begin to formally work on our program.

This week:

a) Parts of Speech: Nouns (Clear Grammar 1 and handout) (CRITERION D)

b) Verb TO BE Present Tense (Clear Grammar 1) (CRITERION D)

c) We will be doing a flux organizer with the information from the introduction of our novel, 'Treasure Island" (CRITERION E)

d) We will read chapters 1, 2 and 3 (CRITERION E)

e) Exercise on the internet (CRITERION E)
f) Our first journal for the bimester.
